Description:
CRC provides infertility services for both male and female camelids.
Animals are seen as outpatients or can be boarded for longer term        evaluation and treatment.

Location: UMass Amherst Hadley Farm, Hadley, MA

Services provided include:
Ultrasonography
Uterine sampling for cytology
Uterine endoscopy
Hormone analyses
Behavior analysis
Treatment of uterine and ovarian problems
Semen evaluation
Breeding soundness examinations

Director: Stephen R. Purdy, DVM. 

Dr. Purdy is an experienced camelid practitioner and Associate                           Professor of Large Animal Studies in the Department of Veterinary       
      and Animal Science.
He is also Director of the Fund for Education and Research in Large                  Animal Veterinary Medicine at UMass.
UMass Camelid Studies Program students are involved in the diagnosis             and treatment of clinical cases under the guidance of Dr. Purdy.
